My photo style is inspired by a blend of film photography and cinema - incorporating earthy tones and a cinematic mood.  Raw moments.  Real emotive responses.  The good stuff that makes life worth living.

DO YOU ONLY PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS AND INTIMATE WEDDINGS?

I’m available for weddings of ALL sizes! While I often thrive in the setting of an intimate wedding, I often times photograph weddings with guest counts up to 175 people. I bring a second photographer with me for this - so we work as a team to capture as many guest reactions and perspectives as possible. I even have package options for this when you inquire :)

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?

If you’re having a wedding, you should book your photographer soon after you sign a contract with a venue. 

If you’re eloping, you should begin searching for a photographer as soon as you decide roughly when and where you want to elope. I love elopements; whether you’re getting married in Charleston or are traveling for your nuptials. Please contact me so we can discuss your travel plans and determine if we’re a good fit.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

I know you’re excited to see what we’ve created, so I provide a brief preview just a few days after your wedding or session featuring the first few edits.  The full gallery will be delivered 4 weeks after the session date.  Wedding galleries will be delivered 8 weeks from your wedding date.

HOW DO I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

All photography packages are delivered through a personalized online gallery.  Both full resolution and social media sizes are available for download.  This link is sent to your email. 

I’M NERVOUS IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. HOW WILL YOU HELP ME GET COMFORTABLE?

The first step is for us to get to know each other.  A big part of my shooting philosophy is directing, rather than traditional posing.  This doesn’t mean I won’t be telling you what to do.  But rather than stiff positioning, I believe in crafting a scene.  Allowing your attention to focus elsewhere rather than on the camera.  Also - I really aim to have as much communication as necessary before our session to get to know each other and feel comfortable before we even arrive.  I want to be your friend AND your photographer.  Besides - we have more fun this way and it allows me to capture a REAL side of you.  REAL emotions because you’re relaxed enough to let them out.  My intention is to create a safe space for you to actually, genuinely enjoy yourselves.

HOW DO I KNOW IF WE’RE A GOOD FIT?

I’d like to think I can work with anyone, but here are the people I think are especially perfect for Madison Krupp Photography:
